Hi All

There was a discussion on the forum a couple of weeks ago regarding the CLAKE (Left hand Clutch and Rear Brake system). www.clake.com.au

Well Sunday October 7th is your opportunity to come and have a ride on my Gas Gas EC300 as pictured in brochure set up with the CLAKE.

If you are not convinced it will work, then you better make sure you are there to try it for yourself, I have plenty of fuel and would be happy to go home with an empty tank.

Linton from Dirt Action Services “DAS Moto” will have the new Gas Gas bikes and some bikes that have been lowered for short arses like me including my bike.

And we will feed you with free sausages and bread for the day, so come and spend our money for your fun

Check out http://www.myrides.co.nz/trail-rides-xidc53532.html for cancellation if mother nature does her worst

You've got the tools. Make one!

Just your basic right hand throttle, clutch, rear brake and front brake...

That leaves you with your little finger doing sod all.

What could possibly go wrong!

Might as well hang the gear shift off it too then... that'll give the little finger something to do :D

the most interesting part of that promo for me is that it is on a free weekend (trackday the weekend after that) AND the "we have modified dirtbikes for short-arse gnomes" part: As a short-arse gnome I approve of this message.

Well it was because the Gas Gas EC300 is easy to lower made it my first choice and the that the Gas Gas motor is very gentlemanly to ride.

Hi All

Delis tools is now importing the CLAKE (Left hand Clutch and Rear Brake system) into NZ. This is the web site from Australia www.clake.com.au or our web page http://www.delis.co.nz/clake-clutch-and-brake-single-lever-operation-xidp406334.html

The CLAKE has a good following and success with Motard riding in Australia, one huge advantage for Motard racing with the CLAKE is RH turns with your right foot down but still having rear brakes on your handle bars.

Sunday October 7th is your opportunity to come and have a ride on my Gas Gas EC300 as pictured in brochure set up with the CLAKE.

I know this is not a Motard but the concept is the same, If you are not convinced it will work, then you better make sure you are there to try it for yourself, I have plenty of fuel and would be happy to go home with an empty tank.

First impressions on riding with a CLAKE

Well what can I say? The Clake has been incredible since its fitment to my motard at the start of 08. The control it gives me over what the back end is doing in all conditions is amazing. On the dirt or on the bitumen the results are the same, increased confidence everywhere.

The fact that you can use any sort of riding technique you want is a real advantage. If you road-race the benefits are staggering (far more than what Owen understands I think!!!!)

Next year I will have a Clake on every bike I race CRF450 motard, KTM580 off-road, CBR250rr road race bike and a Honda MDH250 GP bike. Manufacturers have got it wrong for so many years and it's taken someone like Owen to change the way we ride a motorcycle. After using one of these units, going back to a stock setup is nothing but a disappointing waste of time.

Yes I know, unfortunately the bikes were basically sold by the time they arrived in NZ.

I heard a wee whisper the other day that the 2013 model will be here very soon, cant wait to see them.
