Has any fellow 2 smokers on their learners applied for or got an exemption as required under the new law changes yet?

nah.. the joys of not being on a learners lic :)

keen to watch the value/prices of these bikes when law changes

Can you apply for an exemption from legislation, that has not yet come into effect ... ????????? :wacko:

Why not? better to sort it before the change than after.

It doesn't come into effect untill October 1st. Then you can apply for the exemption.
