Got myself sorted with a gn250 just recently after learning to ride in Cambodia :) LOVING having a bike.. So much fun!!
I don't know ANYONE who has a bike, so would be uber keen to meet up with anyone who's keen to go on some cruising missions regularly. Male, female, any age, I don't give a toss, just keen to meet some people and have some company riding!!
I live in Central Auckland and am 21.

Welcome to KB, the best way for a learner to hone the skills is to ride with a mix of other newbies and experienced riders.
The kind that understand what its like to be new to motorcycling...
As it so happens, we have our fourth group away ride coming up, it may not be what you are after as yet but, our rides are learner friendly so give it some thought.
Heres a link to the ride --->>http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php/152948-Te-Whakawi-U-Turners-Northland-Ride-(16-18-Nov)
There is a mix of ages from 18 upwards and all sizes of bikes.

Welcome, not many chicks get to enjoy the thrills of motorcycling. Consider yourself one of the lucky enlightened ones :D
Always keen for a ride, started on a gn myself, great bikes to learn on. Still on a 250, just a tad more powerful one :scooter: lol

Well this is disappointing. A 21 year old female and the normal reprobates haven't paid a visit yet.:wait:
Welcome aboard the mayhem. You will find there is number of experts for any given subject you care to name. But you'll also find that none of those experts will agree. Just take everything with a pinch of salt in here. You'll quickly learn who are the good guys and who to avoid.

I'm always keen for a cruise around Akl on the weekend. Waterfront/ Mission bay is a nice relaxing ride if you're not too worried about the 50km limit!

Hahaha enlightened for sure... I'm a free spirit, and got hooked on the buzz and freedom of riding a bike compared to a car.
You're right, defo not enough chicks on the road!! I will attempt to change this with my amazing persuasive skills, and one day biker babes with dominate the roads! Watchout!!!

I'm keen for Auckland blats. Piha and Huia make for good relaxed rides. "West is best!"
Oh and for the record, 'cage' is the term we use around here for the four wheeled thingymabobs you see clogging the roads:blip:

I'm going for my first West mission tomorrow actually.. funny you mention it.. Will have a coffee in Titi City (my genius name for titirangi) then probably cruise down to Karekare!! YAY! I'm a bit nervous, some cages drivers tend to be douchebags on those corners

Preeeetty sure you don't know what suspenders are. I'll let you in on a secret. They're not the things that go on your shoulders and keep your pants up. :msn-wink:
