Well, just got the word my poor lil'ol'hornet been pinched! A few choice angry words and other naughty thoughts ...
Anyhow its a CB250 Hornet 1996 model, REGO 83YDA, done well over 100 000 kays and was my first bike ... taken from the Pukekohe area and have put some photos below. If you see it, let me know and let me get my precious back!
The fuel tank has lost some of its paint around the fuel cap area, so pretty distinct with that, also there is a LED system installed with a red button on the left side. Twin 'zorsts also.

Bugger Justin, I do remember that fantastic exhaust from when I rode it, very distinctive - people will just have to listen for the F1 car going through their neighbourhood!

Bugger mate! Hope you get it back. I'd be gutted to have something like that stolen. Especially considering what a fan you are!

That sux, GI. Fingers crossed for a resolution that makes YOU happy...

Thanks everyone, well the matter is in the lap of the biking gods and the boys in blue, plus a few mark one eyeballs that are on the lookout! Hmmm dang, good idea about the chassis number, wish I had them!
Will be contacting the insurance agent to let them know, truth be told, I'd rather have the bike back! I'm hoping the lil'bugger will bite them a new one, preferably fatally!
Puke is a small place, the local plods probably have a few ideas where it could be ... may the perpetrators suffer lingering incontinence with bleeding piles and decrepit athiritis combined with impotence and premature ejaculations and any other curses that these low life oxygen stealing scum need to be infested with!

Bastard bout the bike, hope it gets sorted for you. Bike thieves, like horse thieves, should be tied on a long rope and dragged a long way, no draggin jeans in sight.

That's not very nice, Drew. If you were committing insurance fraud, I bet you wouldn't appreciate someone calling you on it.

Where was it taken from? I know you're puke but anywhere specific? There are some shady shits operating, I've had the misfortune of having a run in with one of the groups.

Welps, the plod have sent through a letter saying that they haven't had any leads on the case. Looks like I may have to call the ol'insurance agents tomorrow ...
Will still be waiting for the opportunity for it to reappear and I will be so  :ar15::angry2::bash::spanking: when I do!
Will have to console myself and go ride ... :weep:
(Yes, I am going through the various stages of emotional response) ... but, life is too short to worry too much about a dear lil'ol'hornet.
Got my others to look after and worry about! :baby:
