Race ECM
Integrated Rear Taillight (tail tidy with brake and indicators all in one light)
Custom Buell Touring seat (great look and very comfortable)
Hero blue screen, extra tall smoke screen, and 2 hero blue clear airbox covers (one cracked at bolt hole)
Aftermarket front indicators (no elephant ears)
K&N Filter
Spare seals and gaskets still in plastic (new)
Relatively new belt
New Rubber on both wheels (Pilot Road 2s, dual compound) 400kms

Why did the top end need rebuilding ?

Fair question. I expected to see exactly why as we got further into the heads, but that didn't happen. I started her up one day and immediately lost a cylinder. Because I caught it and went nowhere, there was no damage etc (didn't happen while riding). We saw no scoring, no pitting on the heads or pistons, and the measurements were still good. In the end, the culprit must have been a failed piston ring, but the teeth are quite small and hard to physically 'see' that either. I have heard that some buells need a rebuild or can have a failure around 40000k, so this happened a bit before that. Did you ask out of mere curiousity or are you interested in the bike? Rides like new now, my mate on here (nallac) is a very good bike mechanic and we had it repaired and tuned to perfection:niceone:
