On our way to Whitianga this afternoon, stopped at Coroglen for a drink and parked outside were three nice bikes. I Griso, an ST3 and a brand spankers V7 Cafe Racer, the chrome tank version. He was taking it for its first ride and had come around clockwise so was on his way South.

I have liked the little V7 since Moto Guzzi first released it and especially the Cafe, but I hadn't seen the Racer in the metal until today. It is gorgeous! The Chrome work and paint were almost flawless!
Owner was very happy and Mrs. Bear thought it was very nice too. Just hurts more that I can't ride when I see a bike like this that would suit my riding needs so well!

Identical to the first pic. I reckon power is somewhat relative to experience and desire. My C50T had plenty of grunt, as did my old GSX600F, so if you are coming off a modern 600/1000 you may be a bit disappointed, but as I said it would suit me to a 'T'.

Prob more fun really, as you're not worried about having to walk home if you're caught speeding. How do riders of thou's manage to keep within sight of the speed limit without going barmy?

Actually a wee bit too pretty in my book - I'd black it out a tad.

Also - how the fuck can they actually make a 750cc engine that produces so little power?
