HJC's helmet cheek pad inflation system?...innovative or a bit of a faff?

Like most helmets, the padding will lose its initial snug fit given time.
This Air Pump System (at first glance) seems to be the answer.

My helmet has this, works brilliantly. my helmet fits snug without needing to inflate, but once on I usually inflate it a bit. Lessens wind noise and hugs my head a lot tighter. I need to deflate it every time otherwise its too tight to fit on my head. Feels safer.

One supposes that this is cheaper than psychotherapy.

I tried one on at the shop a while ago, and I thought it was a good idea, havent ridden with one, but would like to give one a go and test the longevity of it. Often things seem like a great idea at purchase, then you ask yourself a month later why the fuck you bothered.

Very true with a number of items purchased I guess.
Ended up getting an HJC-FS11, not because of the air pump system though. I got it because it was the helmet I wanted before I got the White/black KBC in Janurary.
There was also just the one left on the suppliers website in my size...It has the drop down sunlight film which was a big plus for me. (which can be seen in the pic)
No more tinted visor nor sun glasses to worry about, but then, I used to just a some black insulation tape across the top of both previous visors, no more of that either.
