As usual we are very keen to encourage first timers out into the novice group. We will will have several trainers available and there will also whiteboard (theory) sessions. The novice group is for those who want a safe space to experience the track. The Novice group will be led with no stuffing it up the inside of others on the corners. Feel free to ask questions.

No. No. Please don't Barry. I'm not ready to take mine on track yet. I'm aiming for a November track day and the forecast for Palmy is rain this weekend.

Bring em both lads. We might be able to try to breed a little MV pit-bike. You can fight over which bike is the Daddy-bike.

Yes, we have secretly hidden it on our website under the heading 'Events (http://www.vicclub.co.nz/events.php#Track-Day25-November---Manfeild)' to put people off.

Surprised this thread wasn't resurrected before today's Track day?

Absolutely fine sunny day, little if any wind. There I was thinking I would get the first track day in NZ on a MV F3 and there's Bistard on the F3 Seri Oro 675 parked up in a reserved MV Agusta only bay when I arrived.

Big thanks again to the Organisers and volunteers and marshalls. Clerk of the day was a scary fellow so everyone behaved.

Some seriously fast young guns darting around us senior riders.

Great riding home alongside another F3, what a beaut sound they make.

Couldn't have asked for better weather eh? Most went home happy, a couple with scratches... I saw quite few taking up the option of one on one instruction too.
My goal for the next track day I do is to improve the number of laps completed.
For the record:
Session 1: 1 lap.
Session 2: 1/2 a lap.
Session 3: 2 corners.

Still happy as it proved a couple of things about the bike and I got some fantastic help on sorting the tuning.

Right so this will be the last working day for Dave Moss in NZ, so come along to a great club day at the track, ride it and have your suspension set by some one who is a teacher. Book at Vic for track day and book with me to get your spot for Dave, two options sag settings and clickers for $20, one off visit or $50 for a half day of setting changes to maximise your bike.

If you are on the fence or feel Dave might make you buy some expensive suspension parts (which you are so far off ) then read some of the comments in Pacific thread.

If you are not riding on the day then you can just rock up and have sag settings done and hydraulic's for $20 a one off visit.
