Ive watched this auction on Trade Me go around and around 3 times and nobody bids- I left a message on a previous auction for it and offered him $600 for the tyres.- he spewed!
At least he is honest though..... He lists all the vehicles defects one by one and STILL ASKS FOR OVER $3000.00!
I wonder what his reserve is and why he figures a 26 year old 4x4 is worth this much?

There are plenty of dreamers around there, just look at Landcruisers and Safaris. People still try and get ridiculous amounts of money for their high mileage, worn out 15 or 20 year old SUV.

It's the fancy model, with dual padlocks on the back.

Thats why I bought a Range Rover. Might cost me the earth to fix, but it certainly didn't cost the earth to buy! (And the v8 is awesome.)

Old school 4WDs are the best offroad.
That surf is not one of them. Independent suspension is no good for huge lifts.

Gearbox could last a year, or pack up tomorrow, and he wants 3 grand for it? I'm guessing his missus has told him to sell it, but he doesn't want to...<_<

I surf Trademe daily, always on the look out for new bikes and cars. The same vehicles come up time and time again, some quite literally over years.
The place is full of dreamers, how long does it take to get the message that a vehicle is only worth what people want to pay for it. Asking $4000 more than rivals for an identical vehicle ain't gonna help it sell, it's what it's worth to buyers, not what it's worth to you.
