About an hour north of chch, probably equal south of kaikoura?
30 Nov is open day (these guys won some eco-sustainable competition thing) bees, bush, farm, llamas? i'm keen on ideasing.

(elsewise they have a walk you can do year round, 3 days, 170$ (not too bad as far as paying to walk goes, and they'll even carry your pack for you for another 20$!))
