Hi all,

me and my friend are going to have a ride on labour day weekend.
Start from auckland on 20 and go back on 22.

The approx route should be this (https://maps.google.co.nz/maps?saddr=Auckland-Hamilton+Motorway%2FSH+1&daddr=-38.3445183,175.0822573+to:Oparure+Rd+to:-38.935261,174.46366+to:Vivian+St%2FState+Highway+4 5+to:Pembroke+Rd+to:-39.277846,174.877427+to:-39.2125211,175.5418947+to:Bruce+Rd+to:-39.2649,175.39869+to:State+Hwy%2FState+Highway+4+t o:State+Hwy%2FState+Highway+49+to:Taupo+Bypass%2FS H+1+to:-38.19821,176.25924+to:-37.83873,176.3988+to:State+Highway+2+to:South-Western+Motorway%2FState+Highway+20&hl=en&ll=-39.3173,175.599976&spn=0.948767,2.113495&sll=-39.189691,175.663147&sspn=0.950495,2.113495&geocode=FciUzf0d0JJqCg%3BFbrotv0dEYtvCin1CjZTWbBsb TGhzZsGYe8AEw%3BFWzXtv0d4DhvCg%3BFSPlrf0drBpmCg%3B Ff74q_0dvBVgCg%3BFe42qP0dx5BgCg%3BFeqqqP0d82psCg%3 BFReqqf0dho52CimhVf0KlgFrbTEBKHYYLEwVUg%3BFRpdqf0d RrF2Cg%3BFXzdqP0dIl90Cimb7tCuV-JqbTHQwusGYe8AEw%3BFYDzov0diEpzCg%3BFbS8pf0dMg94Cg %3BFUw2sv0dhhN_Cg%3BFT4kuf0dqICBCilJcHE5L55ubTFhRe YGYe8AEw%3BFXagvv0d0KGDCinvubsukXxubTFQ85cGYe8AEw% 3BFRQjwf0dTCmACg%3BFXKWzP0dnNBqCg&t=h&mra=mi&mrsp=8&sz=10&via=1,7,9,13,14&z=10&lci=com.panoramio.all)
however it could change during the ride (depending on riders)... For now we want to visit New Plymouth, might walk to goblin forest, than Ruapehu (walkway as well), than hot pools somewhere around Taupo, finally Tauranga (or could be Urewera, if we have time) and back home to auckland

We are not going to organize something like official ride, we are just keen on riding through great places, stop when we want and go back whenever we like... Just having fun, not a race, just ride...
We might take couple of walks (one could be quite long, somewhere next to Ruapehu)

We are welcome anyone to join us who feel confident on a bike and don't need a detailed plan...

Approx 400-600rm per day for 3 days. Staying in backpackers.

Also would be great if someone could share some routes to go or places to visit...

Thank you, sorry for my English
