Hi all

Yep we are back at Hampton Downs (and wil be again in January) on the 27th October.
After an awesome strat to the season at Pukekohe we are keen to get track side again with all the team geared up for a days training.
we will have our suspension tech there and I am keen for as many of you as possible to use him this time (its free), a well set up bike is far easier to ride than one that isnt. I'll pinot his pit out at riders briefing.

We have legendry kiwi racer and now Honda dealer Tony Rees as our Star Instructor this time and he is 'keen as' to help you develop either you road skill or race craft skills. He will be available throughout the day for both practical and theory instruction.

As aver arriving early well prepared will make the day start off well

Set up from 7am
Sign on from 7:15 then :-
Machine examination & gear check (in that order)
Track Walk 8:15
Riders briefing 9:15
On Track 9:30

Groups 2 & 3 are almost full so dont delay in entering

Check the web site for an entry form and other details http://www.amcc.org.nz/home

Cheers

Hi,

I'm in again after the great experience in Pukekohe :first:

Perhaps I find someone to "drive" together to that event from Auckland

Cheers

Ping. Don't forget everyone this is on tomorrow (a Saturday), not the usual Sunday - and at the popular Hampton Downs. Also the club is very short of flag marhalls.

An Awesome day,

Now have a little bit of sunburn after standing up on the start gantry all day :sunny:

Full groups and lots of happy people made the day a fantastic time spent at the circuit.
The level of ability in all groups was right up there this time, I don't think I've seen so many riders in groups 1 & 2 that were so consistent and well paced at the start of the day.
The improvements in confidence and ability was clear as the day progressed.

Our suspension Tech was impressed with how many of you sort his advice, he was kept busy for most of the morning!
Like I said a well set up bike is a lot easier to ride than one that isn't.

Tony Rees was kept very busy in all groups and thanks to Ray, Carl and Craig for helping out some of the group 4 guys, by the end of the day they were flying.

Sadly even though I dragged my bike out to the track I never even got a chance to take it off the trailer, we were a little light on marshals (prob due to a lot being tuckered out from last weekend) so we bolsted the ranks with some of the ART peeps.

Thanks to all for a great day, see you out there again on on Sunday 13th January.

I saw several people with cameras there, I guess we shall have to wait and see if any pop up on here.

Another awesome day, well done again to the AMCC ART team!

Having Tony Rees as star instructor was really really cool. He's a hell of a nice guy and got some very valuable feedback.

Met a bunch of cool dudes in the groups too. See you all next time.

I'd be keen to have a look at the footage from that MC22. Man, he was flying!

Few more here from different people and various groups also.

I'd have some more DSLR footage of the groups but kept getting told off for being behind the concrete safety barrier and 10 foot high fence with sandals / bare feet.
