well Rich's new bike will be there & probably the Adlams. Hamish I'd imagine, & probably Fishe's new bike. I also hope to have the 100 on full song.
Should be a ripper race day for A grade.

My front brake master cylinder reservoir broke off. It happened near the start of the second race. I had almost no oil being pumped into my brakes and big gulps of air. I thought I fixed it for race 3 and it broke off again. It's replaced now thank god, but I was really angry that it messed up the racing for me. Still am angry about it. That's how it goes though aye. Had more bad luck last weekend at the test day too. More shit on the bike failing.

I wont be there tomorrow. Last 2 weeks of my study career. Too many projects due. After study is all done then I will be back to coming to every round, rain or shine. I did go to Kaitoke a few weeks ago for a slow practice so I wont be too rusty next time I ride. Have a good one guys, hope the weather holds out but I wouldn't hold your breath!

Well first the apology's. Sorry scott, Sorry Fishie, Sorry George. They know why.
K so for a first day out on the new beast it was great. Also not a bad tun out for a crappy day. I think it was the first time we have had more A than B.
On track the bike wanted to faster than I could all day except the last ride. Great racing buy Caleb and also Reagan. Also good to see Andrew back to full power on the new bike. This years racing will be tough fun for sure. I would not be surprised if we are not into the high 40 second lap times. Also on the ever present noise issue. As mentioned in other threads. If you want to make a 4 stroke work well and be under 95db make a straight through muffler with plenty of volume. Way to many small shit mufflers out there that are far to loud. I will be making a new muffler from scratch soon to try save some weight so will post dimensions and shit when I get into it. Big oval sports bike mufflers will do the job for sure. BIgger is better. fyi mine is 50mm straight through and was well under buy the sounds. Will post a little footage soon.

The weather was pretty good to us, even if the track was wet.
I took my bike home before I blew it up, something is wrong with it, but I decided bouncing my 2yr old off her feet on the trampoline was more fun than delving into the 100 engine again. Well she thought so.
Eventually I slunk into the garage & started work on my stalled 500 project.

Well what a day. Not a very good turn out number wise. The weater would have played a part in that. The weather did clear after lunch just as Dave predicted. Had two wheel changes on two bikes. Got a little stressful. I even locked the car keys in the boot of the car! Plonker. I felt good on the bike and felt like I could actualy ride properly again. Did get beaten by a 16 year old kid though. Well done Caleb. Richard was doing very will for the first ride on a newly built bike. Did any one mention Richs worm up lap? Tex did fantasticly well. Regan also did good. Fishy had some isues with the new build that I'm sure he will sort. Good day to get some wet racing but great to get some dry ones at the end of the day.
Thanks to Fishy for your lap scoring and organising.
See you all next time.

Maybe I should move into weather predicting rather than engine building.:weep:
I could have stuck around & raced the 50 but my head space wasn't in it besides I'd loose the tow these days & have no one to race.

Yes well. I won the warm up lap :( then stalled and poor scott smacked into the back on me. Broke the top fork clamp on his bike.
I crashed mine on the warmup lap in another race. Not sure what happened. Cooled to fast not thinking.
Spoz mine is run in now.

Great day. Sorry for any head aches from noise. Lesson learnt. Discovered the bike is happier with the restriction so good food for thought.
Great to see Caleb on form leading A, along with the top riders battling it out. and Tex where did that form come from, on wets on a drying track no less.
Much thanks to Amy clearing the track in one race for me.
Thanks again to Fysh for such a great day. Nice and cruisy.
A small gripe at the A graders; If you go out in a B grade race please don't sandwich the B grade riders. I nearly came off during the final race after I was blocked from changing lines when Richard came through.

It was funny from Marshall point 6 watching Scott's rear wheel get 1/2 meter air and him trying his best head but Rich in the back.

Bike is going well for sure. Engine out though and balance shaft going back in. To much vibration for an Ali frame to handle me thinks. Every nut and bolt was loose. No vibration on the bars so thought I could get away with it. But nah.
