An option could be to meet up with this group in Paeroa

we could then join them for the loop and finish the rest of the above loop

Weather looks bad for Sunday. Saturday certainly seems the best weather wise..

Rain doesn't come in until later in the evening...http://metservice.com/national/maps-rain-radar/rain-radar-forecasts/rain-forecast-7-day

oh yeh !
How about on the way back we come down koheroa road?
Have driven it a few times into mercer when traffic has been crap after Maramarua and looks like it would be good on a bike.

Was great meeting you all too! Shame about a couple of us getting lost at the end, but it ended up being a really beautiful route back! Even if we did get back a couple of hours later!! :D
