Cromwell street race?

I was talking to a couple of people from cromwell over labour weekend, and they mentioned a motorcycle street race being held in the towns industrial area in the very near future. Have had a look, but cannot find any info on this event. Anybody here know anything about it? Cheers.:headbang::headbang:

You just remined me there was meant to be under way for Balclutha as well a year or two ago, Scumdog told me about it as someone he knew was helping organise it

Yep, know all about the new track, even had a sneek peek. This is supposed to be a street race through the industrial area, 2 different people from the town mentioned it, so I suppose there must be something happening. Apparently they used to hold it it Queenstown, but a spectator got killed. :headbang:

It's a bent sprint around the industrial area (Cemetery road end) .. not just motorcycles.
