Mind you far be it for me to advise an officer of the law against parking sideways on a freeway

That cop was an idiot to park his bike in the middle of a lane like that. There was no way any vehicle behind the truck could see him, and as the video shows even once he could be seen, there was nowhere for the following vehicles to go.
Once again, we motorcyclists must take resposibility for their own safety and never assume that Hi Vis will make us safe.

Wot he said. The copper was a dick to put himself in the path of on comming vehicles with no proper escape route.

Safety is a state of mind we have ... when tucked up in bed. Everywhere else is dangerous :oi-grr:

Idd say yellow car was looking at the 2 bikes and ambo at the time as they were near the onramp corner.
