Perhaps we should have complimentary Superman capes come with all Motorcycle licences issued around the world. So that way we don't have to tell everyone that we're invincible motherfuckers, people can just look at the cape as we fly by at 195kmph.

Kinda makes the ATGATT issue redundant at that speed.

Not really. It all depends on what you hit. Most of us have seen motorcycle racers step off at high speeds and walk away. They wouldn't be doing that in shorts, sneakers and a t-shirt.

Agreed, but wildly different situations. On a race track the whole environment is designed to lessen the chances of a bin being fatal. On the road the best power ranger leather suit in the world will do little more than hold the big bits in, if you are lucky.

Looks like the girl wasn't wearing a helmet.... reflection off the dash just before the crash shows her head pop into view.
Oh dear.....

This is why people need decent training and some self control, very sad accident, but only due to complete stupidity

Not a lot of "investigation" required once that footage was obtained...
Also. I like a man who knows how to correctly tie his tie.

Hmm, certainly did look like she was helmet-less; one can only assume it wasn't her brain matter splattered on the mirror...given that she miraculously survived.
My heart had already skipped at 1:08 so can only guess that "hey, I'm bulletproof/nothing has happened to me yet/I'm a drongo who doesn't know how to learn a lesson" was going on in his brain. Sadly for him it's now too late to learn any more lessons. Hopefully the big lesson she will learn is to be very careful of who she entrusts her life to in future. Yeah, I know a bike can be taken out even when "in the right" but who you get on the back of a bike with has gotten to be more of a biggie to me as I've gotten older and realised the reality of my own mortality.

I dunno, full gear could make quite a difference. Saved this guy's arse when he hit someone at 140 ks after being a muppet at 250 odd...

To be honest, he would have been better off not target fixating and not crashing in the first place.
Or, you know, just not be a cock.

Interesting study in group riding dynamics.
Possibly, if they hadn't been with a group, the rider wouldn't have been going so bloody ballistic. Each one appears to have been enticing the others, though only by the human trait of wishing to conform.
I'm sure the American system will see the insurer of the rider paying a fortune to the pillion. Potentially, the other riders may also be in the shite, their insurers also having to chip in a zillion or so.
I thought it was going to end when the knob riding almost took out one of the other riders.
Bloody cage drivers. Leave us motorcyclists alone, it's the car drivers fault. Yeah right.

When I heard the injuries to the pillion/client, my first reaction was "No helmet, no jacket, no boots,..."
If I ever take on a pillion, I'm going to make sure she looks like Iron Man!

Riding like that...who's surprised? Morons. (Not really talking about the speed...more the 'all over the show' nature of their riding.)

What a bunch of dicks..time&place don't seem to be part of their thought process as they travel through traffic doing half their speed...ah well, play with fire and you'll get burnt I guess.<_<
