Thames coast road was ok when I came down on Sunday lunchtime - no slips and less pea gravel than usual.

Me and Death and his mate Bart are heading out that way, but doing Whangamata - Waihi route, loop is just too long and the budget wont stretch that far. The loop was mint two weeks ago, so road should be good.

Looks like it will be a wheelie competition between you and Death. The first one to reach 300kmph on one wheel wins.:devil2:

Suggest you wait closer to the weekend as the weather is looking a bit crummy :ride:

Did the loop on Saturday, roads were perfect except the hill out of Tairua on to Whitianga as it has been resealed and a bit slippery.
As long as the weather holds should be a good run.

Huh??? I did the loop road saturday (as did some others who you know) and although your road condition report is accurate I am fucked if I saw you there. Were you playing invisible man/invisible bike again or is somebody from the ride using your computer? Spooky

Not too sure if you guys are still planning to do this or not.
I'll probably miss this one.
The weather forcast doesn't look too good and my front tire is getting a bit marginal.
Enjoy the ride if you do decide to go.
