then it started.. called me a silly old c...t.... (which i probably am)
got into a right verbal fight.
i give it back to them too.we are going to report you to the australian embassy they say.

This was posted on a friends FB page.
DO NOT ACCEPT A FRIEND REQUEST FROM TANNER DWYER, CHRISTOPHER BUTTERFIELD, STEFANIA COLAC AND ALEJANDO SPILJNER. THESE ARE HACKERS SO PUT IT ON YOUR WALL. IF SOMEONE ADD'S THEM THEY TAKE YOUR CONTACTS, EMPTY YOUR COMPUTER AND ADDRESSES.
These will not be the ONLY one's that do this. Only accept friend requests from those you know.

Hey Kev, how's it going mate? :D
Sounds like a pain it the PC. It's with shyte like that happening that makes people wary of banking/buy/selling on the indynet.
Did you report it to Yahoo Messenger? Surely they can trace it all.
You over here or there?
cheers

yeah, here's the thing about "privacy settings" and "the internet":
if it's on the internet it's not private.
if someone wants to hack you it's not hard.
if you engaged with them with video it's likely they opened up a portal at the same time, transferring data etc in the background. old trick.
step 1: anyone you don't know shows up on your personal email/messenger accounts, block and ignore them.

Change your passwords immediately and do not use the same passwords for too many things. Keep your banking password completely separate to the rest.
Sometimes you will have people requesting to be friends. Set the yahoo chat options to only accept communication from those you know, and if someone wants to be a friend and you don't know them, then block them.

Norton and scan will have no impact on what I advised, so do that most importantly. It may be overkill, but it's better to be safe... than sorry.

norton should pick up anything left on your PC,
but if you open the door, clicking "accept incoming..." they basically get free reign.

correct.
Also watch for any popup that has accept/decline buttons. The simple click of either button can be an invitation into your computer. It doesnt matter whether you have up to date anti virus, if you conciously click the button, the anti visrus will let it in and you are stuck with a logger, trojan or other malicious infestation...........
