Have just come upon a Givi Monokey top box, but it has no mounting plate.

Anyone have one they aren't using?

Thanks.

If one of these is what you are looking for ... then the answer is yes ...

And it is unused ... as in NEW.

Bugger.

Have just found that as well as the mount I need a plate specific to my bike to make it work.

Looks like a new one is needed. Thanks for posting tho.

There is no universal mounting plate that will Support a Givi topbox ... that will fit all bikes. I had a friendly engineer mate build me a mount system for both panniers and a top box for Givi gear I acquired.

Go talk to your local engineering workshop ... (take your bike and Givi plate) and he would design a mounting plate pretty quickly/easily. Saturday mornings ... (and bring beer? usually works for me.

I have just realised the pics of the mounting plate I posted earlier are not what you want. Those ones are of a plate that accepts only Side panniers ... NOT the Topbox. For use when you want to use a pannier as a topbox.

The plate you are after is this one. It is also NEW and is available.

Wrong one I think FJ, this is the other type of Givi mounting system (can never remember which is monokey and which is monolock).

I think this is monolock? More aimed at scooters... the front of the rack is the opposite (holes instead of hooks).

The First pic's showed the plate that fits my side panniers perfectly. (Monokey labels ON the panniers) As you say ... HOOKS for the panniers are required.
However ... HOLES are required for MY Givi topbox to fit. (no Monokey label though)

As stated ... both plates are new and available, if anybody requires either or both plates.

Ah, anyway, for your info, your box is monolock then (should be a smaller one I think). The big top boxes are monokey as well, so technically if you have the flat pannier racks, the boxes can be moved over all three sides. Only caveat to that is some of the pannier racks are curved, which requires a specific set of panniers.

Her's a pic of the FJ with the panniers fitted.
