View Full Version : Any kind KBers in Dunedin that could check out a bike for me?

I've got my eye on a DR650 in Dunedin, if anyone in Dunedin could go and check it out for me, and let me know if it seems mechanically sound, I'd greatly appreciate it.
The seller just got back to me and said that any day after 5:30pm is good for him.

There are two later model ones for sale in Alex that I'm looking at and at not much more in price, but I noticed that Dunedin one as well.

Yup, that's the one. The next cheapest I saw on Trademe was $5k, so it seemed like a pretty good deal, particularly with the larger tank and other accessories. Plus as an added bonus the seller has said he can probably also deliver it to Christchurch, so I won't even need to take a bus down and ride it back up.
Tigertim kindly offered to check it out for me one evening this week, so if everything seems to be in order, I'll definitely go ahead and buy it.
So yeah, I've pretty much just got my fingers crossed that there aren't any issues with it, and no one snaps it up before I can, as I can barely stretch my finances to this one - the rest on Trademe are well out of reach without a few more months of saving.
