Swede in NZ for some adventures! (Äventyr)

Hi all!

I just arrived in New Zealand for my first time. I don’t know much about your country (yet)But what can I say? love at the first moment!
I’m an outdoors type and love motorbike touring. I just bought a DRZ400 on TradeMe and I will see it tomorrow for the first time. Can`t wait!

I have never been a good planner, so I just do instead. It will probably mean I will hit a landmine or two on the way but it’s the only way I know. I will pick up a NZ motorbike Atlas, but I think the best way to see cool places is to talk to equal minded! And i think a will find a handy tip or two on this forum!

If your going to do adventure riding, focus on the adventure/dual purpose forum.
There are some good guys up in Akld. (crisis mangament, cary, bass etc), don't tell them I said that though.:rolleyes:

Gday and welcome, Good advise, post in the Adventure/dual purpose thread and most provinces have adventure riders who use that thread so where ever you decide to go, somebody will be able to advise you and you may be able to join in on some of the adventure rides that are advertised in that thread.
