OK, looking for anyone out there who has either replaced their original chain and sprockets with same size sprockets and an O Ringed 630 chain.
Or who has converted to a 530 chain and JT sprockets.
I need to know the following.
Can you run the 630 O ringed chain in the enclosed system?
I've been told you can't. Apparently it makes the chain too wide and something gets smashed, I think the sprocket enclosure.
I can get JT sprockets and a 530 chain to suit my existing ratio of 2.19 which I am happy with but am uncertain as to what spacing if any is required on the front sprocket ( you can get a 1.5mm spacer or from another manufacturer a 6mm spacer)
If I go this way do I need to remove the enclosed system?
Any help is going to be much appreciated.
