This custom enclosed motorcycle trailer was STOLEN from my home between 9pm Thursday 15/11/12 and 9am Friday 16/11/12
If seen, please call me (021 413 758) or the police.

*** $500 cash reward for information leading to its recovery ***

It's a unique trailer, completely custom built by me. Would be hard to miss if the thieves are stupid enough to use it...

Features:
Folding roof as shown, self-opening using 6x high-power gas struts
Tailgate combined with ramp
Genuine "DUCATIperformance" decal on tailgate
Stainless flush latches for tailgate
Flush LED lights
LED side marker lights
Jockey wheel
Swing-down support leg under rear of trailer
Subaru 17 inch alloys
"Treadplate" pattern vinyl flooring
6x heavy duty tie down points
2x wheel chock stands bolted to frame

Also taken in the trailer were 8x tie downs (4 ratchet, 4 cam-lock) and 2x handle bar "bra" straps.

Surely the same level of torture is due to be metered out to custom trailer theives as motorcycle theives are worthy of?

I really hope you get it back. The unfortunate reality is that if the thieves are just smart enough to realise how rare it is it will disappear as they will have no idea what to do with it (bit like the Mcintosh Suzuki that was stolen a few years back), if they are thick as pig shit it will turn up on trade me with different plates and the Ducati sticker removed. Will keep an eye out for it in my travels though.

On the plus side. The design is beautiful and I have added the photos to my collection for future reference, when it comes time to build my own.

Fingers crossed eh. My boss got his trailer back when the idiots listed it on trademe, They'd painted over all the signwriting on it, but you could still see it through the paint
