Does it look like the rear shock is shot? (and front tyre flat?)

Yeah certainly looks strange and interesting why there are no front on shots.

The tank colour scheme looks wrong as I'm trying to recall original.

That's a different model/year ...

This should be what it looks like.

Non original paint job with the Honda sticker on the tank on the angle makes an optical illusion ...

He has mixed colours and graphics with other years of same model so its a bit of a mix and match and the worst for me is the angle of the honda badge on the tank. Honda on fairing was sometimes level and some models angled down like his.

Why oh why would you not stick to original on a classic. Idiot!!

Time for another round of Q&As? :blip: Colour of the power band? Headlight fluid been changed recently?

At that price and Km's ... a repaint is a simple option.

Certainly looks a bit off and is asking more than others have for such a state.

They're a nice model of bike though. I'd be keen to pick one up for a go when I have the money and garage space. It's not an icon in any real sense but given that you could get a minter for >$5k it'd be a nice bike to have if you like V4s.

The tank lines don't do it for me, but not seeing any issues with the tyre or shock, just the camera angle I reckon.

:innocent: No idea what you're talking about - no questions have been posted on the gentleman's auction?

For a start, the photo's been taken with a wide angle lens which throws the whole perspective out.

Why you would think there's anything amiss with the rear shock or the front tyre from that shot is beyond me.

I think you're just being a twat.

Really? I don't see any barrel distortion indicative of a wide angle lens, do you?

Why you would think there's anything amiss with the rear shock or the front tyre from that shot is beyond me.

Because I'm not a smug self-righteous know-it-all like you? :bleh:

Or could it just be because the rear looks very low [close-to-rear tyre] and like a weak rear shock... But then I'm not a smug self-righteous know-it-all, so what do I know....

I think you're just being a twat.

Not at all, just a novice asking a genuine question and if you insist on looking at everyone through shit-tinted lenses, that's not my problem...

See the outward tilt on the side of the building?

The photo has been taken standing very close to the bike looking down on it with a wide angle lens.

I would have thought as a photographer you'd have noticed that.

Had considered those factors, but still looked funny to me. But if I knew everything, I'd be Katman...:Punk:

Maybe you're just as crap at taking photos as you are at riding motorcycles.

Does look a little odd, but I think maybe just a mixture of bad camera shot and inattention to detail in the paint job. Was going to paint my one in those colours, but I think I will go all black again.:2thumbsup

Maybe... but then I'm a young motorcyclist, so there's room to improve and improve I will.

Your sunny disposition is none of my concern but only entirely yours, so excuse me if I lose no sleep over your comments.
