The API and UPI newswires have reported that the French Government has raised it's terror alert level from "run" to "hide". The only two higher alerts are "surrender" and "collaborate".
The rise was precipitated by a fire, which destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively disabling their military forces.
The Italians have raised their alert level from "shouting excitedly" to "elaborate military posturing". Two more levels remain "ineffective combat operations" and "change sides".
The Germans have also increased their alert level from "disdainful arrogance" to "full dress uniform and marching songs". They have two higher levels "invade a neighbour" and "lose".
Seeing this reaction in continental Europe the Americans have gone from "isolationism" to "find somewhere ripe for regime change".
Their remaining alert levels are "take on the world" and "ask Britain for help".
Australia, following the US lead, has increased it's alert level from "crikey cobber" to "strewth".

Its gone from "I did not do it" to "I was doing paperwork at the time and did not notice" . . .
Remaining positions are "I promise to make my mind up" and "but not until after the election"

Recently I received a warning about the use of that politically incorrect term. Please note: we all need to be more sensitive in our choice of words. I have been informed that the Islamic terrorists who hate our guts, our religion, our freedom, and our way of life in general - and want to kill all of us for the greater glory of Allah - do not like to be called "Towel Heads". This is because the item they wear on their heads is not a towel but actually a small, folded sheet. Therefore, from this point forward you should only refer to them as "Little Sheet Heads." Thank you for your support and compliance on this delicate matter.

New Zealands defence policy is the same as its national anthem.
