I thought threads weren't deleted.

It appears that a thread from the racing forum has simply vanished.

Quarantined? Happens when there is a bit of a fuss. What did I miss?

The line about threads and posts not being deleted went out the window a fair while ago.

They do.

What did I miss?

Which is BS. If you say something stupid on the internet it should stick around forever. This place is getting real soft!

Some threads get allocated to the Mod forum and they have a chuckle over them at the ''End of year Moderators Xmas in the Pond Party''....;)

I asked the mods to remove it as I was the person who started it, and YOU correctly pointed out how I had fuked it up with incorrect information.

Once the date for the track day is set in concrete, I will re post the correct version

So I take it that these days if the OP asks for a thread to be deleted, it's gone?

The times, they are a-changin'.

Have you read the first line of the Aussie and NZ section?

In New Zealand, "learner" and "restricted" motorcycles may only have a 250 cc engine capacity, restricting 15-year-old learner riders to speeds of around, or a bit more than, 160 km/h (99 mph).
