Awesome, BD! I like the first one, it's a bit avant-garde, as opposed to the usual "chick draped on a bike" scenario! Good work, sir! :2thumbsup

"counter-culture" with "Buell".
Personally I think they are an excellent choice on a number of levels. Edit - What he ^ said.

Turn to the left.
(and point your eyes that way - is actually how it goes - repeated many times - depending on the model's experience and fee.)

I'm pretty sure, in this century, I would not link "Harley Davidison" and "counter-culture" either (and yes, props for the photograpehr NO doing so) ... Harleys are the favourite ride of the Latte Set ...

As a rule, generalisations don't work. ('I do have my insightful moments' - W. Smalls - Spinal Tap)
There are still dudes making choppers that fit the textbook - pun intended.
The Buell connection is like the red-haired stepchild, rebellious, non-conforming and eventually disowned.

granted, but how did they get that way? By H-D realising that connection (badasses and police bikes) and fearlessly stripmining it until every stockbroker, lawyer and accountant so inclined is a weekend badass with a leather vest and do-rag. That's actually the stereotypical cliche, but like most cliches, solidly grounded in reality.....

Fark yeah. A big, torquey motor you sit on. Not much else.
Wouldn't want to be chasing parts for it in a few years though - unless you were very handy.

A generation chasm opened up when I kept blithering about Aladin Sane and the latter transformation to the Thin White Duke.

 Tis a chasm I am all too familiar with BD, sadly. At a recent pub quiz I was the only one in the entire room that knew a collection of songs was from the Hunky Dory Album ?? bloody youngsters! Anyway, more pics please, I'd like to see more pretty 'young americans' bedecked with pretty young Antipodians of the Lady type. :msn-wink:

There's to be some online merchandising for Vamps so I can't be too liberal. Powder dry and all that.
There are several other props - including a Hemi Pacer.
I will post linkage when appropo.
Segway to I've done some NZ calendars that I'll stick in a new fred.

cue a long discussion about the Ziggy/Diamond Dogs/Aladdin Sane era vs Low/Heroes/Lodger era*. Personally I am a huge fan of the Berlin trilogy, and in particular of the Stage live album. Though of the three double live albums I have, my favourite is the critically maligned DAVID LIVE from 1976. Possibly because its the first one I heard/owned. If you are buying STAGE on CD, make sure you get the reissue from 2005 with the extra tracks and whatnot.
In terms of songs, my favourite version of Station to Station is the STAGE version. In fact Ima play it right now. dada duhhh dada duhhhh etc.
sorry, flicked into nerd mode for a second there.
*or even more controversially the Lodger/Scary Monsters/Lets Dance era....

Just went and had a nosey..
Darling, I think you've tagged Elizabeth but not Miss Avant-Garde, so the photo ends up on Elizabeth's page where her ladies will see and 'loike it, a lot!".
I've just gone and liked Emma's photo to give some balance, I'm really not loving Elizabeth's leggings, Dave! Just not feeling it..

The girls did the tagging. I'm not playin'.
Luls - What they (fashionistas) get by not hiring a gay man is that my interest ends at the integrity of the image.

But that's my favourite scenario :(
Cool shots though! Loved the white Buell.
