One way of signalling that one has started to bond to one's motorcycle is by adding modifications to it.
And so that process has started with my recently acquired 2009 Kawasaki Z1000 (ZR1000B).
Modification 1: Pit stand bobbins. Machined billet aluminium. Loktited and working well.
Modification 2: Mirror extenders. Thanks Ebay. Imported from Hong Kong.
Modification 3: Ventura pack rack fitted. Fuck me. What a job, although I reckon that I could now fit another one in a fraction of the time. So if anybody has a ZR1000B that they need a Ventura rack fitted to, give me a call before I forget how.
Modifications in the pipeline include a rear hugger, screen and seat. Loudeners may appear at some stage too, but crickey they're pricey and us poor self-employed people shouldn't look overly ostentatious.
