Its also called Nomi communication , Nomi means to drink
Its a a kind of have to do if you want to keep ur customers
So
U line up a izakiya ( drinking /Eating place), most are all you can eat / drink , 3 k yen each
Some are fkin expensive
Then u get rat-arsed.
OK once or twice a week ,,,,, but come the Christmas season ,,,,,,all your customers , suppliers , friends insist, ,
This year I tried to say no , but I've got 7 between now and Xmas , plus the office party and any drinks after work ( usually wed at Honda )
Now I'm a screaming alcoholic ( functional) but this time of year is a killer

You need a bypass tube that goes straight to yer penis. Add a pair of them trousers that has a bladder lining and you'll not only stay sober and have a relatively healthy liver, but your legs will be warm all night long.

It helps to read them while half cut....

It all sounds a lot like the last late night trading before Christmas in ChCh in the late 70's

If you were known in the trade you could be legless before finishing visiting all the bike shops in Manchester St alone....

...remind me to tell you a tale of replacing a broken window in the Dive at the British on a Christmas eve many years back...

Geeze brian you must hang with different japs than I do.
My guys are all fairly lightweight when it comes to drinking. 10.30/last train time in osaka and they all stagger off.
Shibu shibu and hot sake has em staggering drunk. Yakatori/beers/cocktails and they fall of the stools.
