Mental Trousers

I thought I was sitting in the pits at Paeroa it was so hot at Hampton Downs. It was a real scorcher, especially sitting around in bike leathers.
Friday was really hectic. I had to change the oil and filter, get everything back on the bike as I'd pulled all the fairings and some other bits and pieces off while sorting out the quick shifter and shift lights and a couple of other bits, give it a wash and polish, change some of the stickers cos I'd put them on backwards, get food, get gas and a whole bunch of other things that had to be done. All before heading to the bosses place for our work Christmas do and get home in time to meet Nicki and Franz.
All of the big jobs and most of the little jobs were sorted by 3:30pm, just in time to pick up my wife from her work Christmas party. Picking her up I got cornered by one of the IT guys who tried to talk me into joining the party and doing burn outs. Normally I would've been all for some free beer and playing silly buggers but I was racing the next day and there's no way I'd turn up there feeling seedy....
