Fuel duty is going up to pay for the roads of significance (:killingme), Mp's got another pay rise, we're all tightening our belts as they're gonna hack away at services again, prolly to pay for the pay rises, and my mum wants to buy me a kegerator.

We boycott Xmas on principle. It's all a load of bollocks anyway. Means we can buy each other pressies whenever we want to any other time of the year.
Anniversaries for example or just because we feel like it.
Back on topic though, it's 'only' 9c a litre, eh..? :pinch:

If I want a 'great little car' (ergo: fuel economy) I'll drive my Marina ute!
Filled it up on 2nd November, used it every day and it STILL has nearly 1/2 a tank of gas left.

It would have even more gas in it if you walked to work ;)
Sick of the pollies getting pay rise after pay rise... they earn more than most of your average workers already, and get perks etc on top of it.

Over three years...yes
3c per litre per year starting next June/July.
Fuel prices fluctuate here by 4c per litre several times a week as it is, anywhere between $2.089 and $2.119

Well they better give us some presents soon other than secret trade agreements & payrises for themselves, 'cause ( & I hope they are listening) the peasants are really starting to grumble. Well the ones I know anyway.
You see, people are losing faith in their endless bullshit & highroad to hell system of economics. We will or should I say have, lost all respect for them & like overseas may start to fight back against their arrogance & we will wipe that fucking fake patronising smile off their faces.....
We  we, are getting rather:angry:

Bastard politicians ... they are determined to make a surplus by 2014 - even at the expense of increasing taxes ... and then they give themselves a pay rise for that !!!
Motherfuckers ... let's formulate armed revolution ..

If you do that OK .. but remember power brakes and power steering only work (in cars) with the engine running ...

Meh... they're silly people. I expect no less of them.
They are that... although I'm fine with an armed resolution, I mean revolution, where it's the arms that you slide into sleeves that are being used and not the sleeves that you slide into arms :eek5:

Well, taking up arms is a very big step indeed,& N.Z aint that far yet.....still there are many ways that you can get a point across that could inconvienence the polliwallys & or their corporate bosses considerably......without hurting anyone.

Yeah but we are sheeple, and we will roll over and take whatever TPTB dish out. We moan, but we still take it. We are not in to inconveniencing people, that is not the kiwi way.

I totally agree....& I'd like to add that i feel that kiwis ar'nt into inconveniency people because its too inconvenient for us to do so....what with us all working more hours than ever, not being able to take time off because we are more indebted than ever & that our society has become more fractured than ever....If you start wanting to do more for our society ,to make it better for people not international business interests , then some wally will call you a socialist.:oi-grr:
Add to that,TPTB have more tools at their disposal & laws at their disposal, to monitor any kind of dissent, way betterer than our forebears who were out on the streets last century.
I think it'll be,if it happens, a quiet revolution....just a few 'Sleeping Dogs'.
Or a coalition of left wing parties. That'd fuck 'em. Im not including Labour in that scenario though & I wouldnt put it past both the Nats & the Labs to enter into a Grand Coalition to stop it.
Time will tell.

nothing is going to happen I believe and am afraid. it seems not be in the nature of the new zealander to mount a good strike, this might be due to the influx of migrants or just to tired at the end of the day.
there is a certain amount of frustration in peeps, one feels it on the way home, driving road rage, tired looking, pissed off, late for diner, stuck in traffic etc.
but will they dare change anything and fuck up the mortgage, finance, schooling of the kids, dental plan etc. I don't believe so.
they used to call indebtured servitude.....we are on our way back to the middle ages.

+1... time not important, only life important... so sayeth the mondoshawan.
When I responded to BBerlier tofay.. I'm a tad pissed up, so thought I'd leave the smeelling mistakes (tht was spelled pismates, go figure), anyway, I figures that resolution was actually better than revolution. Hang on, making a ciggy, should get the finger isn order. Then again/// waaaa ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaa... anyways... as a side bar I saw one of those magic things tonight. A lovely little lady ricked up to the pub and when she locked her eyes on her dad she lit up like blackpool illuminations.. yes I digress, but fuck it was a magic moment. I seek a resolution. We're so disconnected with what life truly is, that we;ve forgotten that those who fuck upm are merely human. Are we really that perfect. Yaya ommmmmmmm... We seem to have forgotten what we have suffered and refuse to understand why those who currently suffer don't just harden the fuck up... moderately amusing given that our suffering didn;t just sort itself out ovenight.
As tree huggy peace loving wankery as it may sound, we're in a unique position to change the history of everyone on the face of thios globey type thing. You could make more of a difference than you can possibly imagine. There is a world out there, here, that is there for our taking. We just have to take it. Puddytats words say it all, standing on ceremony because of some fucked up social convention that we've been led to belive is the norm is so unbelievably so far from the truth that it seems like myth... unobtainlable, impossible, not worth even consierdaing, that we happily roll over and take is up the arse for no other reasonthan it satifsies gthe great gods of ecomomics. Believeing otherwise is tantamouht to dessertion or treason. Seriously, whythefuck are we here? To rip peiople off? To make money :killingme to prove that we are better than someone elese because we work harder? fuckin atrocious. Obviously I'm not fully with it, but the shit that passes as life these days id like the punchline to a bad joke. We live longer, therfore the pension age should rise, we earn less than the rate of inflation therefore we derserve to lose our house (it happens), we work more hours than others yet we get paid less than a quarter of what someone else gets paid. It's about as fucked up sa you can possibly Imagine, I am better than you because I earn more money ... ok, so I'm likely gonna regret part of this post tomorrow, but it'll likely be because it is too PC. I'm ready for bed now, nighty night
