Tested the ZX650r for the first track experience, DR Bagshore was kind enough to take a few little videos and put something together.
Its fairly long - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igBBjQ-GAtE&feature=youtu.be
We took a couple of my in the later stages of the day, short clip going through sweeper or PEPSI corner.

The bike had only had wide open throttle tune, so it was quiet hard at mid corner to get your roll on right... it didn't do anything for the first 1/8 or so of roll on, then jumped into life. We did about 20-30 laps total as I wanted to keep an eye on the frame and whole machine after each session. It was running at about 85degrees on track, possibly a little bit hotter. Everything else went perfect, the radiator was slightly in the way of the front tire so it has touched only just. We will probably make a thicker rad to keep it cooler as we found peak HP was at 80degrees...
In the last session I pushed a bit harder to see how the lap times looked (off the GPX dash/logger) managed a 1:15.4 fairly easily which was fantastic.... There us plenty more to come, specally now we have Actually tuned it.
The result on the dyno was very good, Top power is good, we didn't gain anyfrom the last session - however the day was a much worser day weather wise for HP read outs. We did make some good gains in Torque and HP in the bottom end. And naturally now you can actually roll the throttle on and the bike actually accelerates.
Im competing at Wangas so see you there!
