Hi guys, I just got a 200exc (2004). the spedo seems to have a problem.... everything works on it but the kph stops at 29-30? any suggestions. Thanks

Maybe it needs to be calibrated.

Try replacing the battery. It costs about $13. and is similar to a big watch battery and is located under the unit (you may have to remove the unit first and the screw is a half turn thread and then lever the plug out).

Once the battery gets flat then the unit does become eratic although it will still record engine hours acurately.

I dont get it lol my hour meter shows 101.8 hours (from new) and the spedo's hours says 75.1 ??
