it'd be good for the unforuntate who had leg/foot issues. If Postie had a bike (not mne bro), he'd find this very handy, cos the movement in his leg is just coming back, and might not be strong enough to run a length of the 22. So this would help him get back on 2 wheels.. Also any amputee (sp?) would probably love this too. I don't think many people without any issues would get lazy enough, but those with problems of such would probably love it..

When I was a wee student in Pomland I used to drink in a pub (the Swinging Sporran in Manchester in case anyone's interested) where the local Hells Angels chapter hung out. They were a good bunch and also ran a charity called NABD - National Association for Bikers with a Disability. They adapt bikes for disabled riders so they can get back on the road:

One of the Turbo boys runs an air shifter (quickshifter)off an rpm switch,fully automatic for 1/4 mile runs.

can't you do full throttle shifts with those things?
