Hi All,

Hoping to find and buy a nice Ducati Superlight. There are a couple on TradeMe, but both of them are going to be difficult for me to see in person. Wondering if anyone knows this bike: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=545800226

I hoping to find a well maintaing and reasonably unmolested example (a MK I would be the ultimate :-)

Any advice out there?

Cheers
Nathan

The Superlight's are all 2 valve heads and air-cooled at 904cc with a vented clutch cover, Brembo brakes and Marvic wheels. The 851 is the first production iteration of the water-cooled 4 valve head. Which one are you after?

Sorry, my bad, been looking at too many bikes.

I'm after the Superlight not the 851. Will amend the title of the thread. Thanks for the heads up!

The only other one I have seen on TM is this one: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/motorbikes/sports/auction-532821824.htm

Looks ok from photos but going to be impossible to get to Greymouth for a look

Maybe try the Italian Motorcycle Club or Ducati Owners Club ?

And pictures when you get it - nice bike. I got my first Ducati recently - love it! 900SSie.
See you on the ( side of :) ) the road!
