So I'm selling my street triple. If anybody is interested flick me a message - also keen to hear what people think is a reasonable price.

EDIT
The bike is now up on trademe: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=548018274

Details:

2010 Red Street Triple, comes with colour matched fly screen, rad guards and belly pan
35,000ish ks, will go up, have full service history from the local triupmh dealers
Good but not mint condition - some rust on the mirror stalks (never bothered me because I always intended to get bar end mirrors), small tear in the seat. Otherwise very good condition.
Has a rear shock from a street triple R, I have the original if you like
I have (but haven't fitted) a renthal ultra low black set of bars - bought as I wanted lower bars but it turns out the difference is minimal and they are 2 inces wider than stock too
New chain + sprockets at 30,000 ks, recently new brake pads, tyres pretty worn

I may consider a part trade on something like a 1998 ->onwards ZX9R, early 2000s litre bike (but ideally something with more than just a token pillion seat), with cash my way. OR may take part trade for a beaten up commuter bike (e.g. GSF600, honda bros 650) - as long as it's road legal and scratched up so I can practice in a parking lot and not stress about damaging it futher.

$999,999,999 is a bit cheap for this kind of bike. What's wrong with it?

However, I cant. All I have is a rough looking '97 Fireblade, 1000 cash, a yappy Pomeranian dog, an aging Siamese cat, some magic beans and a half eaten bag of chips

Well, if you could up that to a 2002 fireblade and a whole bag of chips...

Been having a look and the 2002/2003 fireblades look tempting, but are pricier than ZX9s and have less pillion room it seems. I'm a bit gutted because the ZX9 I had my eye on appears to have dropped off trademe - was obscenely good value at $4.5k.

Cheers for the feedback. $9.5k ->10k was about what I had in mind.

The system auto-rounded off the last 99 cents.

Hey yeah that was me.

While I'd love a ZX10 the plan is to get 9K or 10K and spend 6k/7k on a sportsbike (ZX9, older fireblade) and 2k/3k on an old, beaten up commuter to go to and from work. Sorry...
