Must have been filmed in NZ. The fuckwit was complaining the whole time the fire was being put out. Anywhere else and they would have been cheering.

Lol, I certainly got the impression one "commentator" didn't like the way the fire was being put out.

Perhaps they were drunken and made a mistake?

looks damaged enough to be a write off anyway, the extinguishing just topped it off.

A fiberglass boat would be fucked regardless ... just easier to drag the heap home in one lump ... than many.

sorry should have worded that properly, what i meant by topped it off was that it woulda been the icing on the cake, as in the lolz.

Regretfully he was a bit late to save the boat (f/glass Colt) but certainly did a great job of stopping the fire potentially spreading into the countryside .
In the Jet Boat Club competition rallies there is often a jet wash event where targets on the shore (& I don't mean sun bathing ladies) need to be hit for points. All good practice for incidents like boat fires.

from another forum i am on... jetboating

motor died (308 Holden) and wouldn't start then smoke/flames, was well maintained and immaculate condition, including a pre season check over every year, also not used a lot. Fiberglass colt so right off.
Video-er was not the driver, just a bystander. Owner would like to say many thanks to the guy who tried to put it out but was too late. Cause unknown at this stage but as I said was a well maintained boat which he had owned for many years (approx 14).
