Looking forward to this seasons racing, who's going to last the distance or choke ?
Sunday 11pm on ESPN Sky TV.
3 hours of action from Rd1 Anaheim , there's a few who have stepped up to the big bikes and a few looking to prove they belong will be a dog fight/brawl down to 10th.

Cant wait. I think you cant go past Villopto he ruled at MEC, except for 1 hiccup he could well have gone for all 3 again and that's straight after knee reconstruction. . However, my dark horse is definitely Barcia. In fact I think he will bring a whole new level that will include a degree of bar bashing. Reed, Dungy and Stewart will always be in the hunt too... Jesuss who knows whats going to happen. Cant wait!! :woohoo:

Aussie gets it live ths year, and we get the same ESPN feed for some stuff i thought we might as well, shame, looks like Justin TV again to get it live,
RV trying to be the 4th rider to win 3 straight, Stewart on the bike he wants, Barcia the new kid with a shit load of promise,
would love to see Canard back to his best, and one more win for Windom would be cool as well,

yeah 2013 is going to be awesome, cant wait!!
realistically I reckon Villopoto is going to take it again, he charges hard while being precise. he reminds me of RC and not because they are both ginger ninjas.
I'm rooting for Barcia. hes great to watch, lets it all hang out and his passing style is something most people would only try in a video game.He proved he has the pace on a 450 at the monster cup. I reckon hes going to cause a lot of frustration for the top guys.
I hope Stewart can keep it together because a Stewart/Barcia dogfight will be awesome!! but then again if Stewart does keep it together no one can touch him.

yep you would have got some big odd's betting on that result, got to give it to him tho, holeshot, got run down, but faught back on the last lap to win it, always was bagged for not being fit, but he lost something like 70 pounds in the off season, he must have put the work in,

The top riders seem to be on a similar pace with Trey and Davey stepping up it just got a whole lot more interesting with 7 possible winners on any given day.
Can't see any one rider dominating the series with wins.

Great to see Trey back and pleasing to see Barcia doing so well. I thought Milsaps was looking skinny, 70lbs is a huge body change.
I was really enjoying the ESPN coverage until it ran short - was pissed off with that. Feels a bit off watching SX on a Monday night after work.

Reed did not really come though the pack like i thought he would, RV seems to have found his stride and has pace on everyone,
MIllsaps still impresses me, reminds me of Dungey from a couple of years ago, or Reed in his Yamaha years where they were really consistant but just off the pace of the fastest riders, but stayed on and won the title,
RV Starts have seemed to improved as well, which is dangerous for everyone else,

Good days racing in rd 5 , Roczen's looking smooth and fast and now got a good points buffer to Tomac, Dungey got the start and just rode away from the field and Millsaps still looking good for top 3 overall and if he can podium every race might even win it.

Dungey's outside gate helped him miss the Reed/Brayton Carnage which caught a few riders, thought Stewart would have a bit more fight, he would have been about 6th with out it, RV has a good start until he got caught high on the berm with Reed blocking his path
After the air shock debalcle and with half a lap to go in th LCQ Dungey looked like he was not going to make the main, only the mistake from the leader let him though as i dont think he was close enough to get Jimmy Albertson, but he made the most of what he got delt and rode away from MIlsaps and Stewart,
Milsaps is doing everything right, good starts and not making mistakes,
as for the lites, its in K Rock's hand now, he can get second every week now,

Millsaps looks like the real deal smooth, fast , consistent and seems to be getting the luck, Stewart ain't got no luck at all did Yamaha put a hex/curse on him?

What an awesome 450 main that was!! My favorite so far. Dirty pass by RV on Stewart, might not have been illegal but still dirty. Everyone was clearly riding in single file and rolling over the jumps on the red cross flag and RV snuck past Stewart. I'm sure RV wouldn't like it if he was injured on the ground and riders were illegally jumping and trying to make passes. Shame on him:nono:
He did ride like an absolute beast for the rest of the race though.

he didnt jump, :0 but agree it was pretty bad, but Barcia was just as bad behind him coming up along side RV on the triple that they all roleed, if is had been at a race i run he would have been gone, but we run very different yellow flag rules in NZ,
big points shift this week, and Millsaps did not come though the pack that well, only 12 points now, Daytona will be interesting,

Hell yeah that was friggin amazing, definately the highlight of the race for me.
Its proberly because there isnt much for him to fight for, JS is an all or nothing type of rider and hes out of the running the championship for the year. disagree, RV is the fastest on the track now most weekends, he is the only one that can win from a 5th or 6th place start, he has run James down on a number of occasions this year, and in the last few years,
but the whole field is closer to him than they were to James 4-5 years ago,
James is still fast for sure, and on his day the fastest, but not the fastest man on the planet anymore, i think that title belongs to the angry ginger on the green bike,

I hope Milsapps gets a 2nd wind this season, hes not my favourite rider but hes the rider that I would most like to see walk away with the championship this year. Hes definately put in more hard yards during the off season than any other rider and has definately brought it this year. Lets hope his confidence is not too broken and he can get that red plate back from RV.
Roczen is going to cause some trouble for the more experienced guys, I dont think any rider that has moved up from the 250 class this year has shown that kind of confidence, not even bam bam.
scott411
14th March 2013, 08:39
I thought Eli Tomac rode very well, came up to 4th, Roczen started well but sended up 7th,
BAm Bam has not really kept it up like he started, and niether has Canard, both are still in teh series tho and that has been not easy in years gone by,
Also I hope Chad Reed gets a win, i suspect if he does not he might not be back next year, he has never really been happy with top 5's,

all US motorsports have a prayer at sometime during the Show, Nascar quite often televise their one just before the drivers get into their cars,
does not really worry me if the rider wants to thank his lord, his girl friend or his dog (which happened a few years ago) on the podium, they earned their place up there to say want they want,

I would also suggest thanking God increases the sponsorship and marketing likeability by about 2 notches. But as you say they earned the right. Personally I get tired of the robotic speeches, hence the reason I enjoy some of the Dirt Shark vids, they show a different side to all involved.
Indy again was an awesome race. Dungy gave RV a good push, which was good to see. However he is again showing his true skills and without incident this is RV's to Win.
Feel sorry for Blake, he rode well in the lead, only to go down on the last lap. But Musquin fought form last to take it, shows the benifit of never giving up. Finally someone needs to tell Canard to ease back on the scrub! Especially when his teamate is only 2 feet beside him!

have not seen the race yet but it has been said he almost let Dungey by, he did this to BT in 2007 at milville in the first moto, and then went out and smoked him in the next race,

Think you're getting a bit carried away there. Tomac was 6th not 10th or 15th, also had a difficult heat with someone falling on him in the first corner and having to play catch-up. Roczen was actually pretty quick in the LCQ after the crash too. Osborne went from 1st to about 12th over the 15 laps - what happened there? A good race night for the younger Stewart as well, a sign of things to come maybe?
I hope Vegas has the same intensity of racing in the 450s as Salt Lake City did. RV, DM RD all impressive all through the season but so far this has been the pinnacle.
That all or nothing woops section might have made that venue.

he started 2nd in the main, and at one stage went as far back as 9th, without crashing, it was pretty bad, a 3rd place would have tied the points, this is from the current champ, who at the start of the year was dam near untouchable,
Bradshaw still got 6th or 7th the night he choked and gave Stanton the title,
Agreed that Mookie rode the best he has all year, but with his team folding before the outdoors start I hope he can find a ride, it would have been interesting to see if he and Davalos had started up the front, they were both going forward in the main,
