Have bought a new bike and the plan was to keep the Speedy as a track day bike but if I am being realistic time is going to be a major issue this year and the bike is likely to spend the next twelve months sitting in the garage. It certainly deserves better than that.
The motor is standard with the exception of a Power Commander dynoed by Gary Pendleton in Tauranga. The rear shock is a three way adjustable Penske (ex Shaun Harris) with an Ohlins reservoir and the front is Racetech with Ohlins springs all set up and regularly serviced by Robert Taylor. The clip ons are gone and have been replaced by street bars (lots more fun) and the muffler is a Phoenix (LOUD) and the bars sport Pazzo adjustable levers.
The bike uses no oil between oil changes (regular) and the only work that has been required over the years has been a rewound stator and a new TPS. It also comes with a Laminar Lip screen, spare softer Ohlins spring (I'm a bit porky), original rear shock and other odd bits and pieces.
There is a camera mounted on the left snorkel and as I now have a Go Pro it goes with the bike.
It is warranted and regoed until April (I think, will need to check)
This has been a well loved and well used bike which has had some sensible coin spent on it and I believe the price is a fair one (given the mileage) so it is firm. If I can't get this much for it I will keep it (i.e. I don't have to sell it).
My insurance only covers riders 30 yrs and over so if you want a test ride bring cash.
