That's why you leave your racing for the track. Never know what's ahead on the road, imagine hitting that at high speed.

The 'looking back' angle gives a clearer indication of what mayhem the widdle wee fulla caused!

Yeah, I've lost count of the number of Koala Bears that I've come across riding on NZ roads

There was an Angel there??:eek5: Must have been the one that kept them safe!!
The guy that hit the Koala was lucky that the car driver behind was alert and the other bikers reacted pretty quickly too.

True dat, but there're always tractors, sheep, cattle, dogs, tourists and idiots in general to avoid, aren't there? So pace should match what you can see.

they must have all been riding at the speed limit, reaction time and stopping were a hint to that, second view did give a concerning picture of the event, but again, no clouds of tire smoke, and everyone looked like they survived the incident, again, maybe because they were traveling at the speed limit. Lots of information in that vid, if you can read situational awareness properly.

Looks like the guy in front wasn't paying attention and didn't slow much just went round koala, as you can see car on other side of road was already stopped.
The other bikers were following too close and had to take more evaisive action than necessary imo.

Whoa, the replies are not what I expected. First thing I thought was "why did the koala cross the road?"

The first time we rode to PI from Sydney we came across one wandering around on the road....it really didn't seem to care about us or the cages too much....
