I thought about it for a bit, but yep, the triple is up on trademe again. No more 'expressions of interest', I hope to sell.
Details:

->2010 Red Triumph Street Triple, comes with colour matched fly screen, rad guards and belly pan.
->36,000ish ks, will go up, have full service history from the local triupmh dealers.
->Has a rear shock from a street triple R, which makes a significant difference. I have the original if you like.
->Good but not mint condition, small tear in the seat.
->I have (but haven't fitted) a renthal ultra low black set of bars - bought as I wanted lower bars but it turns out the difference is minimal and they are 2 inches wider than stock too.
->New chain + sprockets at 30,000 ks, recently new brake pads, tyres pretty worn.

I may consider a part trade on something like a 1998 ->onwards ZX9R, 2002/2003 Fireblade 954, with cash my way. OR may take part trade for a beaten up commuter bike (e.g. GSF600, honda bros 650) - as long as it's road legal and scratched up so I can practice in a parking lot and not stress about damaging it futher.

Happy to arrange viewings or answer questions. The idea is to sell it for 9k-10k, and spend 7kish on a proper early 2000s sportsbike, and 2.5kish on a beaten up bike to use as a commuter and practice silly stuff. If you are interested and have a bike which fits either of those descriptions, I'm happy to consider a trade with cash my way....

I'm not being facetious but doesn't a Street Triple fill both those roles extremely well? Why pay to rego two older bikes when you have a perfectly good late model that does it all?

I agree, it's an excellent all round bike. In a few years I might even buy another.

However at the moment I want a bike which is more comfortable on the track (less upright, some form of windscreen), and I want a bike I can practice silly things on and not worry so much about scratching it up a bit. Dropping the triumph would not leave me a happy person.

Xsannz - your bikes combined are worth significantly more than mine and I don't have spare cash sitting around unfortunately... besides, a cbr as a first bike would be awesome for your partner!
