Will the black caps get past day 3 of the test starting tonight?? :nono:
Does anybody care???
They will probably get done like a dogs dinner, but I would hope, as they are a national sports team, they put up a decent fight.

They really are an embarrassment as a team...NZ's so called top 11 are woefull. Cricket in this country started it's decend into the abyss, when the big money was introduced.
No, I don't care.

"Game".
Two teams competing with a set of rules = game.
A fucking boring one at that.

Actually Brownlee was born in Australia, Munro, Wagner and Watling (all named in the team to play tonight) are all South African so in effect they are beating NZ's finest:killingme 7 and some didnt make it overseas players

I'll be watching, I'm a bit of a cricket tragic.
I expect their performance to be better in this test, hopefully making the Saffas bat twice! Over the past few years they have generally had a shocker in the first test of each series and then realised they actually have to put a bit of effort in and so compete better in the final test(s). The last Sri Lankan series was an example of this, as was the series in India and the recent series in Aussie.
The question is, why do they seem to reset back to shithouse at the begining of each series?
At least Franklin is out, he was hopeless with bat and ball.

Way back when I was a student between degrees, I spent four months nursing in the local loony bin. I got to like watching test cricket at that time. Don't ask me how it happened or why...maybe because it stopped the loonies from playing up - they all fell asleep watching...

Hmm, I'm not sure they are meeting the definition.

Williamson just dropped Amla on about 47. That's a very good way to go about losing a test via SA.

I love cricket.
I don't love the NZ Cricket team. No fight at the moment. Happy with mediocrity.
Still SA are a great team to watch.
They should make Day 3 now, SA usually like to bat a team into oblivion. So they will bat well into day 2.
Unless NZ but in back to back 45's we should make day four for our innings defeat this time.

I was listening to Radio Hauraki yesterday and they had a reporter out on the street asking the question "Will the Black Caps beat South Africa in the second test". He had $1000 to give to the first positive answer and must have asked at least twenty people. He returned to the studio with the money still in his pocket!

The New Zealand cricket team is so pathetic, they should have their salarys revoked to minimum wage, it really is all they are worth.
Primadonnas with no backbone.
The blind insular organisation that is NZC, believe they have some kind of mandate/right, to butcher Hagley Park to turn into some kind of "International' cricket ground, taking Hagley Park from the people of Christchurch. They barely deserve Darfield Primery second 11 ground.............. I grew up watching real cricketers that dedicated themselves to being the best they could be, and without featherbed salaries and treatment.
If NZC manage to somehow get it to happen, they have vastly underestimated the hate that will flow, as with all sport organisations where money and imagined status is involved, they believe the game is owned by them and is for them to build their own insular little empire, and the grass roots inch at a time , die.
I have gone from being an ardent follower, to a hater.
I can live with losing, but I cannot live with lack of backbone.

I was the same with Rugby vice versa.
They are the National games though. Any Kiwis that would like to stay home because of cricket are welcome to :-)

"South Africa are the no.1 side for a reason and we are the number 8 side for a reason," said New Zealand coach Mike Heeson.
"Our players are trying their very best, but at the moment we are being completely outclassed."

NZ's test innings are too short now .. only worth a five minute nap ..
