Something uglier than the Rune. Didn't think it was possible...

Like the rear wheel design though..

That's old! I'm sure I saw that many moons ago. Oh yeah - 30th June, 2004. :weird:

Sorry - was I spozed to say summat about it?
OK - it's BEWDIFUL! The most lovely bike I've ever seen.
Will that do?
God bless Murkns and their wacky ideas of style...

No such thing as an ugly woman. It all depends on time, place and opportunity.

No such thing as an ugly motorcycle, etc etc.

Some women and motorcycles do test the theory I must admit. Cheers John.

To be honest, I dont really go in for the whole "cruiser" look at all, but if I was going to get one, then I definately wouldnt want something that looked like a harley rip-off. And this thing doesnt . . .

But I still aint gonna buy one!!

I reckon the look would grow on you. Seriously. As said above, it's totally different to a Harley.

But as for that back wheel design.... WHY? Lets see..... lets put the axle nuts on the inside of the wheel to make it impossible to get on and off without Honda Special Tool JKL-678-986-0421, massively increase the loads put on the wheel, thereby increasing unsprung weight, and yet make it look EXACTLY like a normal setup unless you happen to have your head nearly jammed inside the wheel. Oh yes, that's a stunning peice of design :weird:

Don't think it looks that bad. Pity about the muffler and chain drive. But it is a concept after all.

Personnally I think it looks better than a V-Rod or Road Warrior. Has a kewl aggressive look about it. Replacing the back tyre would cost about the same as I payed for my GB400 though :sherlock:

It's beautiful!!! What the hell is wrong with people here? And the Rune ugly?

....wonders back to the sports bike forum, with new found bewilderment for cruiser riders.

I reckon it's got a certain appeal.

Could be worse, could have fake gold wannabe plating around the instruments and headlight ring, similar to that eighties fucken cruiser thing with the chrome pimples sticking out the side. What was that called again..........

the coolest VTX based bike ever is the one that Jesse James did for Honda.

it completely rules.......

I have a pic somewhere.... it was my wallpaper prior to the Wraith.

I respect Honda for being the only major Jap manufacturer building cruisers that aren't trying to be Harley look-alikes.

Ain't a cruiser but I could convert, would still keep the Saki though.

Yup, certainly different. I must say the shops would sell more of those than the Rune.

If the Rune had had HD on the side it would have sold bucket loads and would have been labelled as a welcome breath of fresh air, too many people still have their heads up their arses regarding the whole jap is crap bullshit.

Speaking of Runes - a Rune and some other behemoth (I think it was a Rocket III) lane-split past me on the Bridge this morning, nearly getting side-swiped by some 'tard in a small truck abruptly changing lanes. The Rocket pilot gave me a wave as he cruised by, which was neighbourly of him.

I was impressed, watching these two leviathons/behemoths/slices of real estate carving through the traffic. Wouldn't have wanted to be them, though, as they're pharkin big, so not super-duper manoueverable.
I just stayed in my lane trying to keep my germ-addled brain from allowing my mind to wander off.

I like the bike. It looks awesome ! :niceone: It needs a comfortable rear seat.

My gf has been complaining about my RR not made for carrying passangers. So, I will soon be looking for a cruising to compliment by RR. :headbang:

hear hear, Honda latest stuff is looking really good. Still doesn't touch on my beautiful Volusia, which kicks the arse of all HD's and any other cruisers out there.

I honeslty love it, its a good sized break away from the others, and thats something Honda has always done well.
