Hi guys, been checking out this great site for some time now and decided to join the community.
I grew up around onewhero/pukekohe (sth auckland), but moved to oz when i was 17.
only got to ride a few different bikes in nz, the last being a cb350 twin. wet through apple riding school so I could get my license early!
so after many years in oz riding I started going to the philippines and fell in love with the place. Riding theres a breeze with no speed cameras or booze busses, its the speed cops that gives me the shits here in oz, so it was a welcome change.
after 8yrs of riding in the Philippines Im bak in oz looking after my elderly mum. My wife and son and a few bikes are back in the philippines and were trying to decide whether to remain in oz and bring the family here or take my mum to the philippines so she can spend her final days there in comfort (and me being able to ride the way I like!).
so its great to be part of the online kiwi biking community! Ill start by seeking out some info on a bike I just scored, a szr660 yammy. not many out there but Im sure you guys will have some great repower suggestions as us kiwis are speed crazy!
so thanks for accepting me and 'gidday, kumista and hari mai!
