Thanks guys its hard staying under 4k revs at the moment. Kind of like owning a MT01 lol.
Building a trailer for it for the odd tour. Its even going to have a zx14 wheel on the trailer that will match the bike.

I like it, especially the Yoshis, much better than the original huge cans :niceone:

A Battlestar eh!
Agree with HDC, looks good in black.
Edit, with all those torques, why don't you just use a car (or truck) trailer? :bleh:

Yeah im glad I ordered the black. The green was nice but I wanted the ABS which doesnt come on the SE green model and flames on the belly pan wasnt my thing.

Nice! :niceone: Very good choice. I rode one when Kawasaki toured the country with selected models, loved it. I have a 07 14 and was seriously considering a trade but the change over was too much. Ended up keeping the 14 and adding to it with a 2010 Concours instead, hopefully be able to keep both but it's early days yet. If I have to make a choice it's not going to be easy!
You'll love the 14 I'm sure, handle well for a big machine and the motor is superb and it's a well judged update. Black is best on a 14 too, just finishes off the look of menace nicely... :D

Thanks guys
Back from Picton holiday(without bike).
Took the wifey for a ride today up around and behind Whanganui. 500km return for a coffee so Ninja service booked for Friday morning.
Both our butts were a bit sore but we havent done any longer rides for a while now so not that bad. no back pain even with passenger which is a surprise for me. A few bikes I have had required a back brace to do 2hr plus ride. Im tall with a dodgy back. ;)

Beautiful looking bike dude & I absolutely agree about the belly pan flames on the green! They just look that little bit naff to me, guess it's a personal taste thing......

Question?
Its outa warranty and the 6k service is oil filter and a few checks of fluids.
Is it normal for me to want to do the service myself?

No. It means it's time to get a new bike.

I thought about it a bit but its hard to justify changing a bike I still like. Its the first bike I have owned for over 2 years. Im only a divorce away from a H2 seeing as they don't have a rear seat.

Yes. On a not so good note. This is what my neighbours party last night got me for my birthday and no sleep.
They have been renting next door for about 2 months and they have band equipment that they like to play late at night. Noise control complaints list is about 20 reference numbers long from our calls and is a lot longer if you count other neighbours calls.

Get the owners number. Ring them every time you get woken. Noise control cannot do much.

Yes. I have to see the environmental noise control officer also as they have more power than the noise control officers. Apparently they will approach the landlord and can go as far as a forced eviction. I need to see if this is true or not. Im having trouble finding the owner of the property. Any ideas on how to track them down. I think it could be Strategy Recruitment Consultancy Ltd but will need phone them to confirm that tomorrow.
I think the tenants have been served a 72hr zero noise notice because they are dead quiet tonight. Maybe the popo took their equipment in the third attend last night at 3am with noise control.
