Stable stand to lift and work on the DR?

Looking for a stable stand to lift and work on the beast (dr 650 rse) 175kg dry. Suggestions, links, sell me your old one?

The DRC one with the hydro bit works.

Spend up to about $50 bucks on an old hospital bed, you know the one, drop top and bottom hydraulic raising etc, put a sheet of 25mm ply over it cut to suit outside of bed, leaves you with approx 2.4 m x .1m, going form ramp height( to get bike up there to about engine at navel.
Works for my old coal burner and shes over 200kgs dry.
Steady as and I and wheel her around the whole workshop on the braked wheels.
Go look on tardme, they're there.

I have one of these. Swear by it. Shop around and you can get them cheaper. I think Repco and other places have similar.

Yep, got one of those too. Found that with the Husky and SXC, I needed to place wood under the bike as the maximum lift still hadn't got the bikes off the ground as they were taller...
No issues for the aprilia and DR650

Your not trying to say these bikes need maintanance are you ;) While there's been a few times when I wished for a lift on the 750, I don't think there's enough bits to undo on DR to warrant the space penalty in my shed.

Going for a slow rebuild so bike will be need to be up there for a while :weep:

Hospital Bed... always admire kiwi ingenuity... :niceone:...only problem is I will have to take both wheels off so need smaller lifting platform from the frame...
Topmaq looks good... a bit pricey... will look in Repco tomorrow.

Works well but not for both wheels off.

135kg max but at the lowest height it'll take a few hundred no issue and both wheels will be of the ground.

Very stable and solid.

If its going to be up there awhile and there is some spare hands available what about custom making something. Here's my dodgy creation for the GSXR when its suspension was out getting a birthday rebuild last year, ugly but works.
Cement bags and wood under exhaust was part of safety net when the weight balance was going on to get front wheel off ground.

I have just bought one of those from super cheap... Had a look at the Topmaq one... the super cheap one is FAR better made.
And more stable..Topmag one wobbles as is uses 10mm flat bar where the Super cheap unit has RHS for the lift arms...
Topmag want $240 / Super cheap $199 for a better unit...

I can't honestly say I need one, but do feel tempted: they are on sale today for $159.
