I'm thinking about doing the loop on monday. Anyone else keen for this? I'll be leaving from Hamilton. I've invited my mate as well though he hasn't confirmed going. Anyone else is welcome to come. If no one else comes I probably wont go :(

On the last day of a long weekend? You'd probably be better off on the Sunday.

Bassmat is spot on. Leave it for some other time and enjoy it properly. I drove back from Hamilton to Coromandel last night at 9 pm and it was still pretty much nose to tail from Thames to Coro. Imagine that lot streaming off the Peninsula on Monday :angry:. There's also a big fishing comp on so there will be lots of trailers being towed.

Find some nice Waikato back roads this time around.
