So, I have heard rumors that some owners of 900 Hornets have sold them off for the 600s.
I would like to know if this is more than a rumor and why it would be done!

Someone please enlighten a poor-minded individual like myself!

I had both.Sold the 600 and got a 900.I always regretted doing it.
Not that the 900 is a bad bike ,far from it they are awesome! but the difference between the two was not enough to warrant changing over plus the 600 has a sweet motor which had a real sense of urgency at high revs that the 900 didn't.In saying that some people would like the more lazy torque of the 900 compared to the 600.Both are farken awesome bikes but if I had to choose only one I would go with the 600.(but not an easy choice)!

Get the 900 - they are physically similar in size and weight but the 900 has a lot more go and you don't have to rev the shit out of it all the time.

Done a lot of km on a CB900, and ridden the newer CB600 a little bit. You don't specify which CB600 either.

The 600 is lighter and a bit more nimble but a very neat little ride and physically more compact than the 900. The 900 has a lot of torque, and I don't think there's any justification to swap from a 900 to the 600, as they're reasonably similar. You could also PM zeocen, as he's currently got a CB600, and had a CB900 prior.
