A good friend of mine is moving from Nelson to Wgtn very soon :bye: & is desperate for help getting her bike & a small amount of furniture/boxes moved over... the 25th Feb (or possibly a day or 2 before that)
Does anyone know anyone who takes a truck/van across who might have some room available please...???
She's a darling chick & really needs some help!!!!
Items:
400 cc motorbike (Honda Bros)
double bed & base
washing machine
approx 10 banana boxes
couple of bags containing blankets
small bedside table
& a mannequin..

Have you asked the city m/C boys if they're going over for anything at manfield or the like? I know that Lester's coming down for a short time maybe he could take some stuff back if you ask???

the point was, has she actually bothered to try a few of the companies - for a small line youll often get a stupidly cheap rates for when a container or truck is heading that way anyway and isnt quite full.
The smaller outfits are often happy to do under the table cashies for fuckall.

Sometimes you may find the odd person tripping backward & forward in a van that has space- I generally ask around first before going to the companies - that's one of the good points of this site, there are some helpful people here - Jen sure is one of them.
